WPCA Propuestas personales - WPCA Personal Proposals

A. Con fecha 30 de octubre pasado envié a los miembros del Grupo Organizador de la  Asociación Mundial de Orientación y Psicoterapia Centradas en la Persona las  siguientes propuestas, que todavía no han sido objeto de estudio por los mismos.

On October 30 I sent to the members of the Organizing Group of the World  Association for Client-Centered Counseling and Psychotherapy the following  proposals, which have not yet being the object of study by them.

B. I am sharing them with the members of the Red-e Iberoamericana (Spanish-Portuguese: 129 members) and the cctpca network (English: 144 members) to promote  the exchange of opinions about them.

Las comparto con los miembros de la Red-e Iberoamericana (español-portugués: 129 miembros) y con la cctpca network (inglés: 144 miembros), para fomentar el  intercambio de opiniones al respecto.

C. Les pido disculpas por enviarlas sólo en español y francés; considero que en este momento es más importante hacérselas llegar tant pronto como sea posible; obtener su traducción pediría un tiempo considerable.

I apologize for sending them only in English and Spanish; I consider that at  this moment it more important to get them to you as soon as possible; obtaining its translation to other languages would ask for a considerable amount of time.

D. I remind you that is is important that you send a copy of your opinions to: wpca@mixcoac.uia.mx so they get to the members of the Organizing Committeee, as well as sharing  them with the members of our specific network.

Les recuerdo que es importante que envíen una copia de sus opiniones a: wpca@mixcoac.uia.mx para que lleguen a los miembros del Comité Organizador, además de compartirla con los miembros de su red específica.

E. Aquí van las propuestas (incluyo algunos cambios en los que he pensado desde entonces).

Here are my proposals (I include some changes I have thought about since then).

1. Que la asociación sea una asociación inclusiva de todas las personas interesadas en el Enfoque Centrado en la Persona. Su nombre podría ser: Asociación Mundial del Enfoque Centrado en la Persona.

That the association be an all-inclusive association for all persons interested in the person-centered approach. Its name could be: World Association for Person-Centered Approach .

2. That the association have sections or divisions, which would allow for the recognition of different fields of work and/or study, one of which could be the World Association for Person-Centered Counseling and Psychotherapy, others could be, for example:

World Association for Person-Centered Education,

World Association for Person-Centered Organizational Developement,

Wolrd Association for Person-Centered Sociology,

World Association for Person-Centered Espiritual Development,

etc., with no other limit than the creativity of the diverse groups interested in becoming organized as sections or divisions.

Que la asociación tenga secciones o divisiones,que permitirían el reconocimiento de diferentes campos de trabajo y/o estudio, una de las cuales podría ser la Asociación Mundial de Orientación y Psicoterapia Centradas en la Persona, así como otras podrían ser, por ejemplo:

Asociación Mundia de Educación Centrada en la Persona,

Asociación Mundial de Desarrolo Organizacional Centrado en la Persona,

Asociación Mundial de Sociología Centrada en la Persona,

Asociación Mundial de Desarrollo Espiritual Centrado en la Persona,

sin otro límite que la creatividad de los diversos grupos interesados en organizarse como secciones o divisiones.

3. Que tanto la Asociación como las secciones o divisiones admitan miembros profesionales y no-profesionales, con derechos y obligaciones diferenciadas, de manera que los profesionales puedan tener el respaldo necesario para su actividad profesional y los no-profesionales puedan participar también.

That the Association, as well as the sections or divisions, admit professional and non-professional members, with differentiated rights and obligations, to allow the professionals to have the necessary support for their professional activities, and the non-professionals to participate also.

4. To recognize differences in professional requirements in diverse countries, so professional members fulfilling their national standards may enjoy the backing of the section or division.

Reconocer las diferencias en requerimientos profesionales en diversos países, de manera que los profesionales que reúnan sus condiciones nacionales puedan disfrutar del respaldo de su sección o división.

5. Respetar la libertad de los miembros de la Asociación de ser miembros de una o más de las secciones o divisiones.

To respect the freedom of the members or the Association to be members of one or more of the sections or divisions.

6. To maintain fraternal relationships with existing regional, national and local person-centered associations, groups and organizations, including their possibility of becoming organizational members of the Association and its sections or divisions.

Mantener relaciones fraternales con las asociaciones, grupos y organizaciones regionales, nacionales y locales centradas en la persona existentes, incluyendo su posibilidad de convertirse en miembros organizacionales de la Asociación y de sus secciones o divisiones.

7. Respetar la libertad de ser miembros de la Asociación y de sus secciones o divisiones sin necesariamente ser miembro de alguna de las asociaciones, grupos u organizaciones mencionadas en la propuesta número 6.

To respect the freedom to be members of the Association and its sections or divisions without necessarily being a member of any of the associations, groups or organizations mentioned in proposal number 6.

8. To recognize from the beginning its World characteristic by estabilshing several official languages for the Associatin and its sections or divisions (this certainly requires an extra effort on everybody's part, yet it is necessary for a real sense of equality among members speaking different languages; no single language should be accepted as universal language).

Reconocer desde el principio su característica Mundial estableciendo varios idiomas oficiales paara la Asociación y sus secciones o divisiones (esto requiere ciertamente un esfuerzo extra de la parte de todos, mas es necesario para un verdadero sentiudo de equidad entre los miembros; ningún idioma único debería ser aceptado como idioma universal).

9. Que el proceso de elaboración de la versión definitiva de los estatutos sea tan participativa como lo permitan los medios de comunicación al alcance del Grupo Organizador de la Asociación.

That the process of elaboration of the definite version of the statutes be as participative as the communication means available to the Organizing Group allow for.

10. That the provisional version of the statutes approved in Lisbon be considered as a starting point and not a final goal, and its elements be integrated, according to its usefulness and relevance, in the statutes of the Association and/or in the statutes of the section or division for person-centered counseling and psychotherapy.

Que la versión provisional de los estatutos aprobada en Lisboa sea considerada como un punto de partida y no como un objetivo final, y sus elementos sean integrados, según su utilidad y pertinencia, en los estatutos de la Asociación y/o en los estatutos de la sección o división de orientación y psicoterapia centradas en la persona.

11.To limit the official activities of the Association and its sections or divisions to the strict necessary mimimum until the definite version of its statutes are approved, as it was voted in Portugal, in the 5th International Conference on Client-Centered and Experiential Psychotherapy in Chicago, in 2000.

Limitar las actividades oficiales de la Asociación y de sus secciones o divisiones al estricto mínimo necesario hasta que la versión definitiva de sus estatutos sean aprobados, tal como fue aprobado en Portugal, en la 5ª Conferencia Internacional de Terapia Centrada en la Persona y Experiencial en Chicago, en el año 2000.
