Finding a Counsellor.

List of British Person Centred Counsellors.

I am building a list of Person Centred/Client Centred Counsellors. The British Association for the Person Centred Approach lists members in it's directory of members. Those in the directory are full members of the Association, have agreed to a statement  about their practice and have had at least 300 specifically Person-Centred training. If you are looking for a counsellor you should read the BAPCA directory notes. The member's statement is currently being reviewed (it should not be taken as an authorative statement of Person-Centred practice). I have also included  some BAPCA members who have not signed the statement, but who have completed at least 300 hours of Person-Centred training. (Some members think the statement is not a fair representation of Person-Centred practice & will not sign it.) I have include other Person-Centred trained Counsellors who meet the 300 hour training criteria.

PCT (Scotland) is a Scottish Person Centred Association and I hope to include details of their membership soon.(Early 1997) Full members are Diploma holders &  have therefore completed at least 450 hours of Person-Centred training.

Lastly, I am prepared to including Person-Centred Counsellors who are still in training, in which case there is a note saying this.

My directory of British PCA/CCT counsellors is arranged by English/Welsh county & Scottish Region. I am also building a directory of Person-Centred Counsellors in other parts of the word. If you are a Person-Centred Counsellor & would like to be included on either list please e-mail me. As with the British Counsellors, all Counsellors listed have at least 300 hours Person-Centred training. )Many far exceed this).

If you can't find what you want here you may try the Gestalt home page where there is a list of Gestalt Counsellors.
